  • Using the free text box to enter a caption for your resource. This caption will be visible to Candidates during an exam run on the iPad application and in risr/assess for browser

  • Using the free text box enter any comments about the resource. Comments are visible to all and can be used to add extra information if required

Editing a Resource

If you need to update a Resource for any reason and it is in Approved state then you will not be able to edit the Resource and will instead need to start a new version of that resource.

This is done to retain all data associated to that Resource at that version of a resource, as if the Resource is changed in any way from the original approved resource that has been used in Exams then it is not the same Resource. You can learn more about Version Control here.

  • Click View for the Resource you need to edit

  • Click + Start a new version

  • The new version is in Draft state and you can click Edit

  • Follow the steps above for Creating a New Resource to edit your resource

  • Submit the resource for review

The Version history and Activity of a Resource can be viewed at the bottom of the View page for each Resource
