8.9 How to publish Candidate results to risr/advance
Exam results and feedback can be reported directly from Practique to Kaizen to provide users a centralised view of their learning and assessment progression.
API
An API can be used to process the request of reporting exam results in Practique to Kaizen, through a Kaizen user account. As such, you will need to create a designated Kaizen user account for this purpose.
The role(s) assigned to this user controls the permissions with which the user can operate within Kaizen, and therefore directly controls the capabilities of this API user. Please see our Kaizen documentation for some more information on this topic.
In order to push results from Practique to Kaizen it is necessary to connect the relevant users in Practique to the relevant user accounts in Kaizen. To do this there needs to be a unique piece of identification to connect a user account in Practique to a user account in Kaizen to allow information to map to the correct user profile. The identifier used by Practique is always the Practique ID. We recommend you add this Practique ID as a user field in Kaizen and populate the relevant value for each user.
Create a new event type
An event type will need to be created in Kaizen which will be used by the API to map results to Kaizen fields. The event will be selected in Practique at the point you wish to publish results.
Example use case: Test results
In the Exams menu, view Reports
Create new report
Select Publish results in Kaizen
Select the Event type to create
Mapping of event fields in Practique
Save field mapping
Select Edit to apply changes to the report
Select Publish results in Kaizen
Results can be exported to complete the reporting process manually? Why is this available if the API can perform this action?
