New Features
Report Generator Version 2
This adds some important improvements to the existing report generator functionality.
Users can now be given the ability to view the content of individual events that are contained within a report output. This can be viewed by clicking a hyperlink in the table which then displays in a popup.
There is a new option to add a graph when building a report template (optional). After selecting a graph type you can then select which data from the report output should be displayed here.
Reports can be featured on users' dashboards. If the report features a graph then this can be the default display with the option to click through directly from the tile to see the full report output.
Coverage reports are now completely separate to report templates. Any blueprints which a user should view the coverage of (e.g. curriculum) are automatically shown beneath the reports drop down from the top menu bar, rather than in the reports list themselves. Only the blueprints which are restricted by relation are shown here so that users always see what is currently relevant to them. All previous blueprints that they were able to tag against are still visible and are accessed from the new profile and summary page.
Profile and Summary Page
This replaces and improves the existing user profile page. Its purpose is to provide all relevant information about each user in one place so as to gain an overview of progress from one place.
The page contains the user's profile details, relation information and dates for which they are active. Tiles can be featured by administrators alongside this standard information to display blueprint coverage or other reports.Â
To view another user's profile and summary you must have the correct permissions. It is then accessed from the users list by clicking directly on their name. Information about yourself is always shown on your own dashboard.
Announcements
Allows organisations to broadcast information quickly to all users, or to a smaller subset only.
Sometimes users of the system need to be informed of important pieces of information and this provides administrators with the ability to post these messages. They appear on the dashboard for a user when they login and can be customisable for all users or can be limited to be visible to a certain group based upon:
Relation
Role
Individual user selection
Once published these messages appear for selected users on their dashboard. There is a notification informing them that there is a new unread message which remains until they click to view its full content. Administrators have the capability to set whether a message is able to be dismissed by an end user, or whether it should always remain until unpublished on the system.
Administrators have the option to set the publish date and un-publish date to define between which dates it should be shown.Â
