8.11 How to Reopen Marking

From the Assign Marker screen:

  • Click on the marker whose marks require amendment

  • For SAQ/MWQ Click:

    • Reopen marking for all items marker by [marker name] (this reopens all marking performed by the specified marker

    • Reopen marking (reopens marking for all candidates per item marked by the specified marker)

    • Padlock Symbol next to candidate (reopens marking for all items per candidate)

  • For VSAQ

    • Reopen marking for all items marker by [marker name] (this reopens all marking performed by the specified marker

    • Reopen marking (reopens marking for all candidates per item marked by the specified marker)

When double marking has been used, Candidates who have been assigned to a senior marker can no longer be reopened.

If an administrator clicks the Reopen all items button for a double marker then all candidates already assigned to a senior marker will also be opened. We advise administrators to reopen marking for individual items where double marking is used.
