8.7 Item Preview

The Item Preview functionality allows users to view the Item will function in an Exam setting as it would be interacted with by a Candidate, Examiner, or other role on the day depending on Item type.

This functionality makes quality assurance of Items more efficient by eliminating the need to create and run a test exam to check how end users will view and interacts with an Item.

For Written Items there is only one view applicable which is as a Candidate. For OSCE Items (used in a Remote OSCE) you can choose perspective based on the end user role (Examiner, Candidate, Role Player, Observer, etc.).

The Item Preview is interactive as it would be in an exam situation. A user is able to enter responses to the question and view resources using the Resource Viewer.
