Summary
A ‘demo exam' can be requested by contacting the Service Desk. They can be used to demonstrate the exam experience to stakeholders, examiners, role players or candidates in a safe environment and could relate to P4B orientation and content testing. The setup of a demo exam would be facilitated by a member of the Fry delivery team.
How It Works
The exam would exist on a Fry operated website and would allow multiple users to log in at the same, this means that data would not be logged for the session and there would be no data to download at the end of the experience.
If the demonstration is for a written exam, there will only be one login required for candidates to use. If the demo is for an OSCE then user login details will be required for Candidates, Examiners and Role Players (if applicable). Additionally, when logging into P4B the user will need to select the correct exam from the drop down menu so that they can access the demo, this will of course be clearly identified prior to the demonstration.
Required Information
Some steps and information will be needed in order for us to facilitate the demonstration exam:
You will need to create the Exam on your live or test instance (test is best)
You do not need to upload candidates as part of the exam creation
You will need to submit a ticket to the support desk with the following information:
Item Set URL
Exam URL
Timeframe for the beginning and end of demonstration period
Once we have this information, our team will work to create the exam and we will notify you on the original Service Ticket with your Demo Exam URL, login and password.
Your Demo Exam
The demo exam will have the same user interface as would be expected on the day of a live exam for a true user experience. All roles used in the exam (candidates/examiners/role players) will have unique login details for the same Exam URL.
Note
It is not required to upload and candidate allocation for the creation of your demo exam
