8.19.2
Release Date: 16 April 2026
Improvements
Optimized Exam Publishing: Enhanced the exam publishing performance for exams with numerous sessions and item variants.
Fixes
Session Management: Resolved an issue where the "Stop Session" button on the dashboard failed to trigger an immediate results update. Stopping a session will now correctly force a refresh of all related data.
Attendance Tracking (DNA): Improved marking candidates as "Did Not Attend" (DNA) in specific scenarios, such as paper-only exams or instances where there was no related WSIUser object.
Live Update Visibility: Fixed a permissions bug to ensure users with "View Dashboard" access can correctly view live login updates as intended.
Reporting Accuracy: Fixed a failure in the Examiner Control Report that occurred when all candidates were excluded from a specific station.
The system now performs a preliminary check if scores are available for an examiner before generating the report.
OSCE Form Improvements:
Exam Preview: Fixed an issue where the OSCE item preview would incorrectly randomize schema answers.
Variant Selection: Removed the "Not set" option for OSCE variants. A specific variant must now be selected to ensure data consistency.
Security & Access: Improved the login redirection logic for unauthorized users, ensuring a smoother transition to the login page and more robust permission handling.
8.19.3
Release Date: 7 May 2026
Improvements
Intelligent Exam Dashboard Filtering: The Exam Dashboard and Session lists now can be configured to show only the sessions that match your user blueprint tags (when categorized with the same category).
New "Deliver Exams" Permission: We’ve introduced a specific permission—Exams: Deliver Exams. This allows administrators to grant users the ability to run sessions (Start, Stop, Pause, and exclude candidates) without needing broader administrative access.
Bug Fixes
Document Formatting: Fixed an issue where long, non-breaking text (like URLs) caused layout errors. HTML previews will no longer overflow horizontally, and PDF exports will no longer cut off content at the margins.
Result Generation Logic: To improve system performance and data accuracy, the automatic update of results and reports now triggers only when the final session in a group is stopped, rather than after every individual session.
Marking rounding: Fixed rounding for edge cases when the value could not be rounded like Infinity.
Reporting & Analytics:
Results Analysis Graph: Fixed a bug where the Passing Threshold line was missing; it now renders correctly when the "Include pass/fail or grade" option is selected.
Marking Reports: Resolved an ordering issue for interviews that occasionally caused incorrect item comparisons.
Item Filtering: Fixed a bug that prevented filtering items by author within an item set.
Integrations & API:
ProctorExam Support: Updated time-stamp formatting to ensure compatibility with recent ProctorExam requirements (switching from floats to integers/strings).
API Reliability: Fixed an issue where creating an exam via API would fail if the latest version of an item set was still in "Draft" status.
Documentation: Improved the visual layout of the Webhook registration API documentation.

Bug Fixes
Resource thumbnails – Resolved an issue where multiple resources could display the same thumbnail image when uploaded with identical filenames. Each resource will now show its correct thumbnail.
Global criteria deletion – You will now see a warning if you attempt to delete a Global criteria that is currently in use, preventing accidental data loss.
ProView exam scheduling – Slot times are now correctly converted to UTC when pushed to ProView, ensuring exams are scheduled at the right time regardless of the candidate's timezone.
ProctorExam candidate time changes – Resolved an issue preventing candidates from unlocking and modifying their exam time slot, caused by a compatibility change in how ProctorExam handles time values.
8.19.5
Release Date: 22 May 2026
Bug Fixes
Score rounding – Resolved an issue where scores with exceptional values (such as Infinity) could fail to calculate correctly. These values are now handled gracefully.
Category text formatting – Fixed an issue where valid special characters were being stripped from Category text when saving. Characters will now be preserved correctly.
8.19.6
Release Date: 29 May 2026
Bug Fixes
Session tag ordering – Tags are now displayed in a consistent order across all tag types, including session tags. Previously, session tags could appear in a random order.
Item set warnings – Resolved a false warning about retired item sets being incorrectly shown when a cloned item set was in use. Cloned item sets are now correctly identified.
Exam start reliability (A4B) – Fixed an issue where candidates who were offline when a session started could have their responses rejected. Exam start events are now processed correctly before candidate responses are handled.
Reports after exam reset – Resolved an error that could occur when accessing reports after an exam had been reset and re-run. Reports are now cleared on reset, preventing conflicts with previous session data.
Examiner tag importer – Fixed an issue where examiner tagging could not be updated via file upload. Imported examiner tags will now be applied correctly.
Statistics for single-candidate exams – Resolved an issue where standard deviation could not be calculated for single-candidate exams, which was causing report export failures.
Comment and note text boxes – Comment and item note fields now automatically resize to fit their content, providing a cleaner and more consistent experience.
Item list download permissions – Tightened access control on item list downloads. Users with item set view permission can no longer download the item list without the additional export permission.
Editing questions with archived resources – Fixed an issue preventing edits to multiple-choice and single best answer questions when part or answer resources had been archived.

Fixed an issue for multilingual items where enemy item links could be incorrectly created when cloning items from secondary variants.

Corrected MAA partial credit scoring so that only the top-scoring responses (up to the maximum allowed) are summed, rather than all correct responses.
Fixed an issue where the waiting time in an OSCE would be skipped and the exam timer started for all candidates if excluded/completed candidates were present in a session.
Fixed an issue where a Written-only dimension could be incorrectly auto-applied to OSCE items due to user tagging.
Resolved duplicate thumbnail issues for resources caused by case-sensitivity handling.
