New Features

Import, export and update blueprint dimensions and categories

This new feature streamlines the initial setup, and ongoing review and maintenance of master blueprint dimensions and categories. Users with appropriate permissions can now import new dimensions or update existing dimensions or categories using a batch file import. They can also download a complete file of all dimensions with categories for QA purposes. We’ve also introduced the ability to delete dimensions and categories, which was a top voted feature suggestion from our user community. A new user permission is available to allow site admins to give users “view only” access to the master blueprint. This was another popular feature suggestion from our users.

Item performance statistics for MWQ sub-parts

Item performance statistics for MWQ sub-parts are now calculated in risr/assess and available for download in the batch Exam stats export.

Answer frequency stats for SBA, MTF, RRQ and EMQ items

Previously, answer frequency statistics for items appeared only in the Station statistic analysis report. Now, you can also view this data on the Item performance tab for SBA, MTF, EMQ, and RRQ items. These statistics are also now available for download in the batch Exam stats export.

Ability to update marking increment

Site admins can now update the marking increment for live items. This tool allows admins to correct increments set incorrectly during item creation.

Added REST API to import raw responses by submitting an XLSX file

Improvements

• The Exam stats export now includes a separate tab for statistical exams, for customers uploading statistical exam data.

• risr/advance connection now displays the Public key when clicking Test connection.

• Improvements to the Item set page display for large item sets.

• Improved wording for the ProctorExam configuration form

• Enhanced the error message for "Too many attempts" when a user tries to log in more than 10 times per minute.

Fixes

• Display item set warnings for excluded items only once when an item is excluded from multiple item sets.

• deleted API key in risr/advance raises an error in risr/assess when the modules are connected.

• Correction to the Pearson-r calculation in the Exam stats export report

• Do not show the Did not attend button on the view logins page when an exam has been finalised

• Do not include items that have been excluded from an exam in the candidate feedback report

Important

Fixed issue (present in 8.18.0, 8.18.1 and 8.18.2) whereby nested categories in the Candidate feedback report showed the leaf category name.

Bug fixes

• Fixed issue for VSAQ subparts in MWQs to provide consistent VSAQ functionality: Subparts now include the ability to set case sensitivity and the Levenshtein threshold. When marking VSAQ subparts, the stem is now visible. If importing MWQs with VSAQ subparts, the header “is case sensitive” is available.

• Fixed ordering of the nested categories in the CFR. Categories are now sorted by parent category first and and then by the child categories.

• Fixed export of items tagged by more than one multidimensional map to include all if the item was tagged by more coordinates.
