Candidate feedback report

The new candidate feedback report restructures the set up of the report and facilitates templating as well as automatic generation of the report post exam.

Main benefits:

• Reduced administrative overhead: Create a template for the candidate feedback report on the exam blueprint and the report will ready to generate once the exam is complete and the standard setting done.

• Avoid providing the wrong format of report to candidates: All parameters are set. Even users who have never run the report before can do it.

• Improved selection of candidates for emailing

• Improved performance: The speed with which the data of the report is returned has been improved. For customers who retrieve their results using our APIs, pdf generation can be turned off on the template and thereby improve the performance further. To understand how the API for the candidate feedback data can be accessed, talk to your risr/team.

Note: When upgrading to 8.13, your existing Candidate Feedback Reports will be changed to the new format and your existing report output will therefore be unchanged. For example if you previously have selected “Graphs” in the “Other” section of the report, the Graph option will now be selected in all three sections where graphs may appear.

Improvements

Resources as answer options

You can now add resources (images) as answer options in Single Best Answer questions.

Offline PIN field hidden by default

In assessments where the exam PIN has been disabled in the exam settings, the Offline PIN field will be hidden by default:

Users will need to click CTRL+P to unhide it. 5 quick taps will unhide the offline PIN field for iPads.
