Replace examiner
The new replace examiner feature allows administrators to easily replace examiners after the exam has been completed. You will be able to replace examiners for a single interaction, a circuit or a complete session in one go.
Main benefits:
Increased Administrative Flexibility: Easily update examiner assignments post-exam to correct any discrepancies due to unexpected examiner swaps or last-minute changes.
Improved Accuracy in Records: Ensure that assessment data accurately reflects the examiners' actual interactions with examinees, providing a more reliable basis for evaluation and feedback.
You can find full documentation of the new feature here
Note: The examiner view that can be accessed from the Set standards page has been altered. The column included now are: Examiner ID, Examiner, Item, Number of candidates examined and Mean score.
Multi-lingual item support
Enhancements for customers delivering written exams in multiple languages including: Â
Supported languages for P4b now include Italian, German, Polish, Russian, and Romanian in addition to French
Changes to the Item view table makes it easier to view and create new language variants for items
Warning information for Item sets is now available as a download for administrators
Item set XLSX download available for each language included in the item set
Improvements
Improved item overview with clearer, more distinct labelling and status indicators. At a glance you can see which items are blueprinted and have resources linked.
We have added a configuration option to allow usernames on the risr/assess server access to be case insensitive. Usernames to login will be insensitive by default. Please talk to your risr/team if you wish to change your configuration.
Candidate exports will now include ‘preferred language’ for multilingual instances.
Exporting candidate responses and results via View sessions > View candidates will now only include candidates from the selected session (not all candidates for whole exam).
New ROSCE exam timing setting to enable/disable candidate notes and resources during the waiting room.
Hidden exams will not be shown on the dashboard.
For any customer who retrieves their results via API, we have added a new option on the Candidate Feedback Report to not generate the pdf file when creating the report. This will increase the speed with which the results are available.
Bug Fixes
Unsupported characters in report name caused report download to fail when opening in Excel. Unsupported characters are now stripped out.
Misaligned columns in the intersection report on rest room rows.
Excel has a character limit of 30 on sheet names. The Candidate ID Mapping export to Excel would fail when session names were over 30 characters long. The system will now automatically shorten the session names to 30 characters prior to exporting the candidate ID mapping.
SEB key validation to accept keys hashed with app download URL for the modern setting
Proctoring configuration save function issue addressed
When changing a part of an MWQ to a label, CountAs tagging is removed
Itemset download criteria CountAs export fixed
If a user is added to the author field after an item is created, that user will now be allowed to edit the item if they have the Items - edit own items permission
