8.0.1: risr/assess iPad app

Note

Due to the encryption of the user password any exams that have been sync’d to the iPad will not be usable. Customers should be advised that, as with backend updates, there shouldn't be any exams, planned to run using the iPad, open on the dashboard when they are updating the iPad app.

Improvements

• Application information screen now shows the full name and/or ID of the last person to log in on that device to help identify a user’s device post-exam. The level of detail must be configured on each instance. You can choose to show the name and ID, just the name or just the ID. By default nothing is shown.

• If you want to change the configuration on your site to show the last user information, please contact the risr/ team by submitting a service desk request.

• Improved performance of the mark sheet layout.

Fixes

• User being logged out automatically - if the device goes offline while the app is in the background and the user resumes using the app offline, when it then goes online they will now remain logged in.

• Audio resources not supported in the app - support has been added for .m4a and .wav audio. Unsupported file format : mp3

• Empty mandatory textfield can be submitted - it is no longer possible to submit an empty mandatory text field on the mark sheet. It is also not possible to submit a mark sheet without saving the content of a free text field.

• Help request notification does not correctly identify the user - the help notification now correctly identifies the user in the message at the top of the marshal screen.

• Application Information screen showing as blank - application information screen now fully populated when using the back button.

• Boolean criterion text area does not expand to match the text provided - the text area for a boolean criteria now dynamically adapts.
