Practique can It is possible for risr/assess to automatically allocate the Candidates and Examiners , but you can also define exactly where candidates startin an Exam rotation, however this is not recommended for the best management of on the day Exam resource. In the system you can define the starting rooms for candidates, what rotations they will be on and what stations, sessions and rotations the examiners the examiners will be on, as well.
Ordering the candidates in alphabetical order
In order to have the candidate list to show in alphabetical order on the Examiner's iPad you need to set up the allocation upload in a particular way.
First candidate (starting room 1) should be the first candidate alphabetically
The proceeding candidates should be listed in reverse alphabetical order. This is driven by the way the rotation scheduling works. The next candidate after the first will be the last candidate on the list ( or anther way to visualise it: the first candidate moves on to room two and the last candidate on the list follows them into room one and so on)
In risr/assess the Examiners (as well as Role Players and Observers if applicable) remain stationary in their room. The Candidates then rotate through these rooms ensuring they are examined against all Items in the Exam.
