Summary of New Feature/Improvement
In Written Exams, one of the available Question (Item) types available is the Multiple Available Answer Acceptable Answers (MAA). This Item type displays as a question with a predefined list of possible answers, the Candidate then selects the answer they think is correct. In our latest release, it is now possible to define more than one answer to be correct.
This allows for greater flexibility in using the MAA Item type. Multiple answers can be defined as correct, with weighting that can be defined as per individual specifications. For example, each answer can be weighted to count as 1 mark, or as a percentage of a whole, it is also now possible to apply negative weighting to incorrect options.

Click on ‘Items’ from the main menu, then click ‘+ Create new Item’
Select ‘Multiple Choice Acceptable Answers Question’ from the ‘Item Type’ dropdown menu

Give your new Item a title and elect select the appropriate language
Upon clicking ‘Create Item’ you are taken to the set up page for your Item, here enter the details for your Multiple Available Answer Answers Question as required (see Notes for further details)
